Well, for this young athlete competing and especially teaching Taekwondo is the fulfillment of a dream. And, best of all he gets to fulfill this dream in his hometown, Richmond, Texas.

Since the age of six, Master Daniel Elkowitz has been learning the art of Taekwondo both from the finest Korean Taekwondo Masters to some of the best Taekwondo competition coaches in the world including United States Olympic coaches.

Now, Master Elkowitz has brought his training back to the greater Richmond/Rosenberg area and has opened Fort Bend Martial Arts Academy. As one of the most beloved Taekwondo athletes in the United States, Master Elkowitz has been welcomed back to his hometown with open arms. His Taekwondo School has been warmly received by the community and is quickly becoming a popular outlet for those wanting to learn what Taekwondo and Master Elkowitz have to offer.

Master Elkowitz attended the local schools in the community, including Pecan Grove Elementary, Garcia Middle School and Stephen F. Austin High School. He also attended Houston Baptist University majoring in Business Management and Finance.
