Fort Bend Martial Arts Student Spotlight - Preston Hood

Martial Arts Sugar Land Student Preston HoodPreston Hood has earned the "Best of the Best Award" at Fort Bend Martial Arts Academy for having the best overall performance at belt testing. He is in the sixth grade at James Bowie Middle School. Preston is 12 years old. Preston participates in the theater at the school and is also in the Art Club. He is an AB honor roll student. Preston competes on the Select Team at FBMAA. Along with the "Best of the Best Award," Preston has also received the "People’s Champion Award," "Outstanding Character Award," "Hardest Working Award," "Most Dedicated Award," "Best Self-Defense Awards," and "All AB Honor Roll Awards." He also medaled at the FBMAA Super Series. Preston plans to attend Texas A&M University. He wants to teach Taekwondo and become an athletic trainer. Preston likes to collect football and baseball cards. Preston notes, Taekwondo has taught him to never give up. He has developed "awesome" friendships through Taekwondo.
