Fort Bend Martial Arts Student Spotlight - Josiah Pearce

Martial Arts Sugar Land Student Josiah PearceJosiah Pearce attends all Pre-AP classes at James Bowie Middle School. Josiah is 13 years old and in the seventh grade. He is an all A honor roll student. Josiah sings in the Varsity Boys Choir and is a member of the Animating Club. At Fort Bend Martial Arts Academy, Josiah competes on the Select Team and is a member of the National Team. He has earned the "Superior Character Award," "Perfect Test Award," "Outstanding Athlete Award," Best Forms Award," "Best Board Breaking Award," "Best Kicks Award," and the "All A and AB Honor Roll Award." Josiah plans to attend Texas A&M then move on to the Disney University. Josiah enjoys reading, drawing and watching television. He wants to be an animator for Disney or an elite Taekwondo athlete. Through Taekwondo, Josiah states he has "learned that things in life won’t be given to you automatically. You have to work for it and persevere to get it. Hard work, self-discipline and perseverance are the keys in life."
