Fort Bend Martial Arts Student Spotlight - Blake Laberge

Martial Arts Sugar Land Student Blake LabergeBlake Laberge will always have a special place in the hearts of the Fort Bend Martial Arts Family. Blake was one of the original "First 20" students to enroll in the school. The picture of this group still hangs proudly in the school. Blake is 10 years old and attends Pecan Grove Elementary School. He is in the fifth grade. Blake has been an all A and AB honor roll student and has garnered a top 5 finish the past three years in the school-wide spelling bee competition including a first place finish this school year. Blake is in the Gifted and Talented Program at Pecan Grove. He is a member of the FBMAA Junior Varsity team. He has earned the "Most Improved Award" twice and "All A and AB Honor Roll Awards." He also earned a second place finish at the FBMAA Open. Blake wants to attend the University of Texas and become a professional athlete, archeologist or a roller coaster designer. Taekwondo has taught Blake to work hard, practice, trust his coaches and to be a good teammate.
